Hard to resist these to tuck away

Picked up a couple of the old-vintage TWS Assyrtiko while they were back on sales at the reduced price, plus a few bottles of assorted Beaujolais to make up a half case and more importantly fill a gap in the cellar:

Ideally I’d like to stick some age-worthy Beaujolais into reserves, so the M-a-V and Morgon are trials for potential re-purchase (if there are any left)!

Quite a big order which should tithe us over until the end of summer. pretty eclectic mix with a few themes appearing, and I’m looking forward to the Gobelsburg GVs.

A box of red and a box of white (the Langhe Nebbiolo is for my dad) ordered today

I look forward to welcoming them to my home.

Seems like a good deal from TWS, especially considering the 2021 EP. Could also be that I got the last case here…

There’s been a huge drop of fine wines on the website this morning, nearly all of which are already sold out.

This one is still available though

That’s cool. Probably makes a good ice pack for BBQs if 2/3 refilled with water.

A couple of recent orders to top up on a bit of everyday white and red over the summer, based on some enjoyable recent tastings, and some new tries.

Mixed case into reserves for 2025 me.

Couldn’t resist putting a mini vertical of these into reserves, where they will no doubt stay for a few years…

Had the ‘17 previously and thought it was excellent.
Have 6 of the ‘22 I bought EP as well.

Arrived back from USA trip with this 21-bottle booty which ToH and I managed to get into our checked-in luggage with no casualties.

Souvenirs from Texas High Plains, Texas Hill Country - (viniferas) -, Arkansas, Missouri and Minnesota (Norton, Enchantment and Marquette hybrids) … (2 repeats not shown). All the pain was worthwhile.

What’s your packing tactic? 21 bottles with no breakages sounds pretty good going.
