Just opened a Tahbilk Marsanne. I love to see this wine develop across the years although always finish the cases from the Society before I can experience it above 6 years! Must try harder - or just buy more!
My notes: Clear and bright. Clear rim. Green with a hint of gold centre. Clean nose. Medium intensity. Stone fruits - apricots. Lanolin, wax. Clean palate. Medium acidity. Slightly waxy texture. Rounded stone fruits - apricots and peaches. Hints of green apple and asparagus. Medium finish. Good balance between fruit and acidity. Starting to development classic waxy texture. Great with salad and chicken dishes.
