Fortunately someone mentioned here that there had been delays in arrival for some of the Greek wines. I had ordered a mixed case to collect from Stevenage tomorrow, and had an acknowledgement confirming “it will be ready for you to pick up…on 17/06/2021”. When I checked the order tracking, it was still shown as awaiting stock. After emailing (on Monday) and not receiving any reply, I rang today, and learned that it was indeed not ready. I have now specified another date, and member services claims that they will tell me if it is still not ready then. But I would advise anyone with an order to collect to check on line and if necessary by phone as there doesn’t seem to be any system for notifying that an order is not ready. Emailing seems useless.
A followup: then, the day after the failed collection, I had a text saying that the case was out for delivery. Fortunately, it is supposed to come at a time when I will be at home. But no explanation, no reply to emails.
