This one definitely qualifies for the #discovery tag. I’ve probably enjoyed this more than any of the other sub-£10 Spanish reds in the list. There’s definitely some oak involved but it’s not too heavy at all. It tastes like spicy strawberries and is juicy and smooth. I think it’s fanfastic value, and I’ve enjoyed it more than the Avaniel at the same price, and probably the Momo Vendimia and Cepa Gavilán for a few pounds extra.
Straight to my wish list.
Have just opened my bottle (bought in my last purchase) agree that its good for the money, great ripe fruit and subtle oak, nice modern Ribera very good value!
This is really rather delicious in a moreish way, an absolute steal.
