Timetable for Non TWS on-line tastings w/b 11 May

There has been a wonderful response from providers of tastings to the recent pandemic. I have enjoyed a number of different on-line experiences.

There have often been too many to manage at once, so I decided to put the three providers that I was using. With the help of my computer sciences son, I have made it into an html table. I sadly could see no way to make it into a WIKI so that others can update and add information, perhaps someone could help with that?

I’m sure that there are many other events that member might like to advertise to others. I hope I’m not treading on others toes by advertising events outside TWS. I have no affinity with any of the organisations (other than membership of TWS). To save space I have not mentioned the host of the webinar - no disrespect meant.

The events vary in style, 67 Pall Mall is able to provide the wines, see discussion here Lockdown TWS probably has the greatest range of events: Q&As, tastings, masterclasses.

Please do check with websites as I guess there may be a change to publication times. I have just done the week ahead so far.

That’s brilliant. Thank you!

There’s also a fair number of people doing Insta/Facebook live type chats.

I’ve particularly enjoyed some of Tim Atkin MW, Mel from Specialist Cellars and Jimmy Smith from West London Wine School. They tend to be a little more ad-hoc, but are worth looking out for. I’ve also done a few tastings with West London Wine School online (although the lack of a coravin means I usually only taste one of the three wines on the night).

Yes, thanks @Jithotw, very helpful.
I really enjoyed Tim Atkin and Samantha O’Keefe from Lismore on Instagram Live this evening.

I’ve changed this to non-tws tastings as we already have a wiki over here:

Many thanks @Brocklehurstj & @strawpig I have added another column for “others” and put in Tim Atkin MW & Jimmy Smith from West London Wine School details for this week ahead.

I have also worked out how to make it a WIKI, so please add others if you wish.
