Last night I opened ‘The Whole Shebang Eleventh Cuvee’ California Red Blend NV which I’d bought to try…
But that was last March. I did like it but it’s no longer listed.
Note to self: if you buy wines to try then do not delay in opening them.
Shebang wines seems a label of Bedrock Wines and it was made by Bedrock owner Morgan Twain-Peterson.
It’s a Zinfandel blended with Carignan, Petite Sirah, Mourvedre, Alicante Bouchet, Grenache, Syrah, and Barbera and was thoroughly delicious

I really enjoyed a bottle of that too, so delicious. It was on the bin end list for a while but I didn’t get round to ordering more before it went.

We had it in September, and were really taken with it too !
His white blend, however, seems to get mixed reviews on the site.

I thought the white blend was pretty decent but there is definitely some bottle variation

Snap! Just tried this tonight at the Vinoteca ‘Exceptionals’ tasting. Quite an interesting exercise in attempting to nose out characteristics of the varieties. Really fun wine and fun winemaking -
