Case arrived: First up is the Cremant de Limoux Antech 2016 … and it’s excellent! Quite light (spring meadow with bluebells… actually), fine bubbles, bone dry, and on the finish a touch of beeswax from the Chenin - refreshing & unique, the finish sets it apart from Champagne wannabees. VERY well made fizz.
I tend to react to sulphoured wines - but no problems here.
As a bonus, its in the post xmas sale reduced from £16 to around £13. So I just might get a half dozen into reserves.
