A great shame - Jacky Blot made (makes?) superb wine & a regional leader dragging the Loire into the 21st Century. I’m fortunate to have a couple of these left on the rack.
Sorry to read this - one of my favourite producers & his wines are some of the best IMO.
I had one of his Chenins in my hands only the other evening but decided on something else. I shall go back to it at the weekend and thank him for the pleasure given during his life.

Oh - sad news. I would look out for his Montlouis when searching for some Loire Chenins, but honestly I never found a wine of his that wasn’t interesting and well-made. R.I.P.

Received an email from L&W this afternoon. While it did contain a lovely tribute to him, its centrepiece was a link to sell one of his wines. I suppose commerce has no feelings, it just felt slightly clumsy.
I received the same and thought it was rather poor taste.
This is sad news indeed. Triple zero? Yes!!!
