My “new” profile picture is a one of two sketches ade of me when i was 31 by a friend Theresa Fleming -long dead- who used them as preparation of a portrait in oils that she painted of me . It is hanging in my dining room.
Just a note having your portrait painted seems to me to be a narssistic activity. When i discovered that Theresa painted, i asked her to do a landscape . She said she rather do a portrait. She rather liked painting portraits , She charged me for materials only. I am glad i have it it reminds me of my long lost youth.
