Petrol Heads

As the subject has started in the drinking thread I thought it would be useful to share experiences and recommendations here.

@lapin_rouge let us know how the repair goes :+1:t2:

Thought this thread would be about old Clare Valley Rieslings

I’m pretty sure we could hijack it, if you have any recommendations!

I’m happy with any of the characters

Like with wine I spend quite a bit of time on cars and thought would be nice to find out if there are any other aficionados here

Learned to drive on you @morrisminor
No synchro on first - dating myself!

If I remember right this vw was the first car I drove at a very young age around the block with my dad.
It was his first car, he got it new and kept for 25 years or so

Didn’t learn to drive in it, but first car I bought was a Morris Minor, which I ran for several years. I remember the lack of synchro, but such a simple car to work on if (when) it went wrong. £100 well spent!

Anyone like Morgans. I have had two. The first was a 4/4 Four seater and the second was a Plus 8 Lightweight, which I kept for 25 years. A divorce forced a reluctant sale.

They were more affordable in those days, now they are approaching £80K +

I like the new three wheeler Morgan

Yes, they look good, would love to have a test drive to compare the models

Really like the concept but never drove one.
Anything with 4 wheels nowadays is £50k, ridiculous.
I tend to change cars fairly frequent but I think this time I might hang on to them for a while

Looks stunning!

Never having done that - but is that like a tent on wheels ?

But without the tailbacks of a caravan.

Out of curiosity - what are the advantages of 3 wheels over 4 ? aside of not having to pay for a wheel.
