Continuing the discussion from Entertain Us! A list of (often free!) cultural experiences online:

in addition to the Montreal Jazz Festival site (which isn’t really jazz!) here are two sites which really are jazz:
jazzonthetube.com which claims to have the biggest collection of jazz videos on the Internet including musicians such as Dizzy Gillespie, Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Stan Getz and Miles Davis. It’s totally free.

Jazz at Lincoln Center, also free.

I’m a big jazz fan (we’ve got a thriving free and improvised jazz scene here in Newcastle) and will definitely check these out. thanks very much for sharing!
