Yeah, whilst the Anya is not bad flavour the Pink Fir Apple proper does top it. Just a shame about the lower yield and poor storage.
Not at the present address, Yorkshire slugs are a force to be reckoned with. Maybe 30 years ago I grew Roma variety in Hertfordshire and they were amazingly productive & great eating.
Perhaps to beat the slugs I could grow them in the unheated greenhouse as a multi-cordon / bush instead of sprawling? What variety should I try ?
