Mrs CC: trying it with strong cheddar and vintage gouda (two staples in our house). Goes well with the gouda, to my surprise.

#122

Who mentioned Risotto?? @Brocklehurstj. Think this would go well!

#123

Bombed with the fish pie. Fine on its own. Quit subtle flavours. Dr C

I think it would be good with it, however I think a more full bodied chardonnay would be better… think Meerlust or something like that.

#125

I saw Nigel Slater cooking roast duck legs with citrus and honey at the weekend. I think this could cope with that.

#126

#wejustwantfishpie

#127

That sounds immense!

#128

I can see it going with a chicken risotto, to merge @Leah and @Kelly’s ideas! But yeah, this is less creamy than a new world chardonnay, maybe?

Anyone care to give this a mark out of 10?

#129

I’ve been rumbled! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

#130

7.5 from me

#131

It looked immense. Saturday kitchen best bits from Sunday morning.

#132

#135

7.5/8!

#136

So a 7.75?

#137

Haha!! A GIF that works with wine tasting and engages the kids?!

I think I’m going for a 8 with this! Right up my alley - love a buttery white!

#138

It’s an VIII here😋 pips the Rhône by a whisker

#139

Macon on its own and Viognier needs food.

#140

It’s an 8 from me. Another Cordier banger
