February has historically been the time for weird(ish) offers - The Society’s Curiosity Shop, Dare To Discover, Off The Beaten Track have been the various names for these offers. I think the Sabar has featured in at least one of those, along with the Vinkara from Turkey, Greek stuff and weird Italian, French and Portuguese stuff.

Oh! Some Gruyere on these little toasts with pumpkin seeds and dried apricots… the sweet/salt/apricot thing really likes the wine!

Can’t do marks out of 10 on this one. We’re enjoying the wine, but it’s a certain experience over the wine itself. The thrill of something more challenging in the glass and nice produce on the table, enjoyed with music by candlelight. (and barstools)

While you’re here…

Next week is our first jaunt back to the old style of #TWSTaste - where we actually have two wines we’ve selected to try together!

It’s going to be a fun opportunity to try two new Exhibition wines - and there’s an Instagram Live just before (next Thursday at about 5.30pm) with the winemaker of the Sonoma Pinot Noir, Claudia Schuetz, is going to join @Sarah for a chat about this new wine. :smiley:
