We’ve voted Urbina as we’d more likely order that again but the white is extremely interesting and would be a great thing to introduce other people to at a dinner party (perhaps as an alternative to a Sauternes?).

The Cour-Cheverny only just gets my vote. The Urbina is fantastic, but I find the Cheverny more interesting.

Well THANK YOU sincerely all of you for another fascinating and wonderful evening - it was honestly so great to taste these wines with you and hear your brilliant insight (and food matches!)

Our next event is another ‘bring a bottle’ - and we thought it was a good time to celebrate all things SOUTH AFRICA!

I’d love you all to join us - it’s a country I haven’t explored enough and I bet there’s some special bottles squirreled away in your wine racks/cellars! :smiley:

Then we’re planning a summery TAPAS NIGHT FIESTA for August 27th with three wines picked to try and a video from our food-matching guru Emma Briffett from the Tastings team - more details to follow very shortly. :smiley:
