Just tried this over the holidays (bought from TWS). It was quite impressive - powerful, expressive. I wasn’t really expecting this mouthful from a Tuscan Chardonnay. Anyone tried different years? Any other Tuscan Chardonnays you’d recommend?
from just across the border in Umbria -
have had several vintages and always amazed by how good it was
It is a fantastic wine! First drank it in 2017 in the restaurant at the Antinori winery in Tuscany.
I brought one bottle of Isole e Olena Chardonnay to a wine tasting group a few years back, I don’t know the vintage but certainly wasn’t 2016. It impressed everyone there.
yes had a bottle at L’Enclume.
I refer NZ Chardonnays - better value, better wines, less hype.
