I'm going to the Bordeaux region - where should I visit?

Hi,

I am going to France in August and visiting an hour south-west of Bordeaux. I am looking for advise on what Vineyards offer the best experience for visiting, tastings, food etc

Any suggestions welcome.

That sounds like you are going to Sauternes / Barsac or is it further south?

It’s in Landes as far as I am aware. I am hiring a car and going into Bordeaux for a few days also so want to travel around

St Emilion is worth a visit, very pleasant town to wander around
