Mon Plaisir…it has been going for donkeys’ years…more upmarket is Clos Maggiore…
I’d agree with Mon Plaisir. You could try Noble Rot Soho, at what was Gay Hussar: I have found both that and the original Noble Rot overrated, but most people seem to rave.

Agree with Bancone if you’re not after comfort. If you are, Clos Maggiore used to be (only because I haven’t been post-covid) just a really nice place to eat (even if you’re not in the conservatory) with excellent service, serviceable food and decent value set menus (though probably a single veggie option). Also pre-covid I liked Parsons for fish if that counts as non-meat in this context.
This is excellent. I’d like to eat in them all but availability of a table leads me to Mon Plaisir. Thank you.
I’ll second this one, also their wine list is provided by 10 Cases across the road.
