Good price performance
Not had this vintage but it’s a great Cava, you can’t go wrong.
Also the Society Cava is excellent.
Yes, agreed
I really like the Muga Cava. Has enough brioche to it to draw a line with most cheaper cavas while it is still eminently drinkable and good value.
Echoing everyone else, it’s excellent. The 2019 is a particularly good vintage of it too.
Lots going on in the region.
I was coming to post on that. I wasn’t aware of the mechanism for allocating votes, no surprise the labelling is hard to change!
Same, no idea. I can understand why so many producers are getting frustrated
I thought the Viñedos de Álava DO was a non-starter, but if they are more accomodating of the small producers of quality wine I could picture it becoming very successful…
Reserva contino 2018 OR imperial 2016 which to buy ? For opening this evening. Morrisons £22 and £21.
I’ve not had Contino yet but Imperial '16 has decent age to it and a better vintage.
Both! Sunday tasting!
But if you have to pick one, Imperial would be great I think
Oops I went Contino. It’s drinking very nicely - but will probabily be better tomorrow with some decanter time. Just have to go back for the Imperial later this week
Moderators can do a much better job than me but I’ve quoted you in the chat now @Matthew-8EAE4
