Cracking corks

If this thread exists already then apologies (and someone please merge). Anyone got thoughts on images on corks? Had this one of a ladybird yesterday which was adorable. Do share your favourites!

It also said “Less Whine, More Wine” down the side of it.

That’s a great cork. Do like an owl!

I like this one, opened a few weeks ago and found casually in my corks bin ( all to be made into something one day not sure what)
From Domaines Dominique Piron (Morgon, Beaujolais) it proudly tells us that “mon père et mon grandpère étaient vignerons”

I think it was from a bottle of Alphabetical Vin Blanc. The cork was better than the wine was unfortunately.

Well not corks but connected - caps on sparkling wine. The middle one is from a drawing by Durer of a rhinoceros that came to Portugal about 1503 that he never saw but set the image of rhinoceros in Europe for 200 years. The animal drowned on a boat trip to Italy.

It is the label image on Barolo for La Spineta who bought a sparkling wine company that was first to use the champagne method in Italy.

Is that an astronaut on a champagne cork? Love it!

We’ve really enjoyed the Sardines from Robert Denogent
