Just returned from a holiday in Calabria. My wife and I were astonished by the range and value (allowing for hotel restaurant markup) of red wines ranging in price from €22 - €40. Standout wines included Dattilo “Ceraudo” 2018 (Caterina Ceraudo is also head chef at a Michelin * restaurant), Bivongi Rossi Riserva Cantine Lavorata 2015 & Muranera Tenuta Iuzzolini 2021.
