Great tasting last night as you would expect from Wimbledon wine cellar. Andrew, as ever, was on top form. We tasted Chablis by Chanson, Ann Parent Pommard and some nice reds from Domaine Chanson and Jadot (Corton)

I ended up buying 2 bottles of Louis Jadot Grand cru Corton Pougeots 2012 and a case of Chablis Les Clos grand cru chanson 2017.

A brilliant night, and nice to bump into a fellow member (Akos)

Cheers.

Rich

You bet. Never go wrong with Andrew and Peters recommendations at the shop.

If I remember well… we have tasted -

Chanson -a Bollinger set up

2017 Chablis Premier Crus - Montee de Tonnerre, Fourchaume and Montmains
2017 Chablis Grand Crus - Preuses and Les Clos

These wines are pretty good value for what they are, the Premier Crus are 120 to 130 per six in bond, while the Grand Crus are 210 and 240 respectively. No oak in sight.

Anne Parent

Corton Blanc Grand Cru 2017 - two and a half times the price of the Les Clos, it is a very good wine, subtle oak.
Pommard Premier Cru Les Croix Blanche 2017
Pommard Premier Cru Les Epenots 2017 - the grand cru of Pommard…
Corton Grand Cru Renardes 2017

Jadot - Corton Grand Cru Pougets 2012
Desaunay - Echezeaux Grand Cru 2012
