Very disappointed not to get the three bottles I wanted from this offer.
I can only imagine that the Society favours those who buy regularly from offers like this, over those who spend on the rest of the list. I just calculated that I have spent over £5500 at the Society in the last five years.
In this period have only bought Le Soula en primeur though, I think. The reason I rarely buy en primeur is simple - the Society rarely offers wines esoteric enough for my tastes en primeur. I never really buy wine from the classic regions anymore, for reasons of money and also taste.
I know it must be difficult with these over-subscribed offers, but I can’t help feeling somewhat discriminated against here. It certainly puts me off ordering again, as I can’t avoid the feeling that some members are more favoured than others.
