Boxes? Pallets surely
This was mostly due to there not being enough of a price reduction, therefore the 2021 did not offer enough value.
Will they learn? Of course not!
Admirably honest summary from Farr Vintners a couple of days ago in case anyone missed it:
“It has been a challenging campaign with many wines released at prices similar to those of the previous three vintages. Any 2021 at the same price as the 2019 is simply not worth buying. There are, however, wines worth picking up this year.”
Most don’t need the cash so they’ll sit on them and release over the years. Hopefully merchants don’t get lumbered with too much.
